Quick answer

The 2 to 1 Point QD Triglide lets you switch your two-point sling to a one-point setup in seconds, giving you more maneuverability when you need it and stability when you don't.

Why use a 2 to 1 point sling converter

A standard two-point sling is great for long carries and weapon retention, but it limits your ability to transition sides or work in tight spaces. The 2 to 1 Point QD Triglide solves this by letting you reconfigure your sling on the fly without tools or spare parts.

The trade-off is that a one-point setup puts more weight on your neck and allows the weapon to swing more freely. That's fine for room clearing or vehicle work, but not ideal for patrol or hiking. The Triglide gives you both options in one compact device.

How to set up and use the 2 to 1 Point QD Triglide

  1. 1. Thread your sling webbing through the Triglide: Remove your sling from the rifle or shotgun. Feed one end of the 1-inch webbing through the center slot of the Triglide, then back through the outer slot. Pull until the Triglide sits about 6–8 inches from the rear attachment point. Make sure the webbing lies flat and isn't twisted inside the slots—twisted webbing can bind and prevent smooth adjustment.
  2. 2. Attach a QD sling swivel to the Triglide: Snap a QD sling swivel (not included) into the round socket on the Triglide. This swivel will become your new front attachment point when the sling is in one-point mode. Use a swivel that matches your rifle's QD cup depth. A shallow cup may not lock the swivel securely.
  3. 3. Reattach the sling in two-point mode: Connect the rear of the sling to your rifle's rear QD cup or stock mount. Connect the front of the sling to the forward QD cup as usual. The Triglide rides near the rear, out of the way. Check that the Triglide doesn't interfere with your support hand or sling tension when the rifle is shouldered.
  4. 4. Convert to one-point mode: Unsnap the front sling attachment from the rifle. Pull the Triglide forward along the webbing until the QD swivel reaches the front of the sling. Snap that swivel into the rifle's forward QD cup (or a receiver-mounted QD point). The sling now runs as a single point from the rear cup to the forward cup via the Triglide. If the sling feels too long in one-point mode, slide the Triglide closer to the rear attachment before reconnecting. This shortens the overall loop.
  5. 5. Switch back to two-point mode: Unsnap the QD swivel from the forward cup. Slide the Triglide back toward the rear of the sling. Reattach the original front sling end to the forward QD cup. The Triglide returns to its stowed position. Practice the transition a few times at home before using it under stress. Muscle memory makes the swap fast and reliable.
