Quick Answer

The Bandai Shokugan Animal Crossing New Horizons Chara-Magnet 2 blind bag is a small, low-cost single-style pickup: you get one randomly selected magnet at roughly 1.65 inches tall, and the package is aimed at ages 15 and up. Buy it if you enjoy the surprise of a random Animal Crossing character; skip it if you need a specific villager guaranteed.

What the Random Style Rule Actually Means for Buyers

The product is sold as a blind bag with a random style, so the listing cannot promise which magnet you will receive. That is the central buying decision here, not the magnet itself. If you are shopping for a gift and the recipient has a favorite character, a random single bag is a gamble; if the fun is in opening an unknown design, it is exactly the right format.

Because the catalog does not list the full lineup of possible styles, I cannot tell you how many designs exist or how hard any one is to find. Treat any specific-character expectation as unverified until you see the assortment on the packaging or ask the seller.

Size, Age Guidance, and Display Expectations

At about 1.65 inches tall, these are small magnets suited to a fridge door, a magnetic board, or a metal cabinet edge rather than a large display shelf. The catalog also notes that actual measurements can vary within a normal range of 1 to 3 cm, so do not plan a precise grid layout around an exact dimension.

The 15-and-up age guidance is worth respecting. This is a collectible-style item with small parts, not a toddler toy, so it fits older fans and adult collectors better than young children.

Where This Fits in a New Horizons Magnet Set

If you are building an Animal Crossing New Horizons magnet set, one random bag is a low-commitment way to start or to add variety. The trade-off is that duplicates are possible when you buy multiple single bags, and the catalog does not describe any duplicate-prevention or case-assortment guarantee.

Color and appearance can also differ from the listing photos because of lighting, screen settings, and photography, so judge the design by the character rather than by an exact shade match.

Chara-Magnet 2 Blind Bag: Common Questions Answered

What is inside one blind bag?

One randomly selected Chara-Magnet 2 style, based on the Animal Crossing New Horizons theme. The catalog does not list the full assortment, so the number of possible designs is not confirmed here.

Can I choose a specific character?

No. The listing sells a random style, so you cannot pick a villager or design at checkout. If a specific character is essential, buy only after confirming the assortment with the seller or choose a non-blind item instead. A random single bag is a poor fit for character-specific gift requests.

How big is the magnet?

About 1.65 inches tall according to the catalog, with actual measurements varying within a normal range of 1 to 3 cm. Plan for a small fridge or board magnet, not a large display piece.

Is it safe for children?

The product is labeled for ages 15 and up. Treat it as a collector item for teens and adults rather than a toy for young kids.

Will the magnet look exactly like the photo?

Not necessarily. The catalog warns that actual product, size, and color may differ due to lighting, display screens, and photography style. Expect minor variation in appearance.

Should I buy more than one bag?

Buy multiple only if you are comfortable with possible duplicates, because the catalog does not describe any duplicate guarantee or case assortment. If you want a complete set, ask the seller whether a full case is available before ordering singles. Check for a full-case option before chasing a complete set through single bags.
