Quick Answer
For most collectors, buying individual Girabbiti Coaster Series 1 packs is the best way to start, unless you're aiming for a complete set and are comfortable with the risk of duplicates when purchasing a whole box.
What Makes This Coaster Series Unique
The Bandai Dragon Ball Super Girabbiti Coaster Series 1 stands out with its rainbow-effect and gold-effect coasters, each featuring a silver design on the back. With 28 different designs in total, the series offers a mix of visual variety that appeals to both Dragon Ball fans and coaster collectors.
Because the coasters come in blind bags, you won't know which design you're getting until you open the pack. This element of surprise is part of the fun, but it also means duplicates are possible, especially if you buy multiple packs at once.
Box Purchase Considerations
If you're thinking about buying a whole box of 28 packs, note that while you get a 10% discount, the box does not guarantee a full set of designs. This is a key trade-off: you save money per pack, but you might still end up with missing designs and extras you don't need.
For collectors who want to complete the set without duplicates, buying individual packs or trading with other collectors may be more efficient, even if it costs more per pack.
Decision Rules for Buying Girabbiti Coasters
- If you want to collect all 28 designs: Be prepared for the possibility of duplicates. Even with a whole box, a full set is not guaranteed. Consider trading or buying singles to fill gaps.
- If you're on a budget: Buying a whole box gives you a 10% discount, which lowers the cost per pack. However, if you only want a few specific designs, purchasing individual packs may be more cost-effective overall.
- If you enjoy the surprise of blind bags: Individual packs are perfect for casual collectors who like the thrill of opening a random coaster. You can spread out purchases over time without committing to a full box.
