Quick Answer
If you want a compact, affordable My Hero Academia figure with solid PVC/ABS build, the Banpresto Bravegraph Izuku Midoriya is a strong pick—but consider your display space and preferred style before choosing.
Size and Display Considerations
At about 5 inches tall, the Bravegraph Izuku Midoriya fits neatly on standard shelves without dominating your setup. This makes it a flexible choice if you're mixing figures from different lines or have limited display space.
Larger figures can be more imposing but require more room. If you prefer a centerpiece, a bigger scale might be worth the extra space.
Material and Build Quality
The figure is made from PVC and ABS, which are standard for art toy figures and offer a good balance of durability and detail. This construction is typical for Banpresto prizes, so you know what to expect in terms of feel and longevity.
Other figures may use different materials like resin, which can offer more intricate detail but are often more fragile and expensive.
Tradeoffs at a Glance
- Size: 5 inches vs larger: A 5-inch figure is easy to place anywhere, but if you want a commanding presence on your shelf, a larger scale might be more satisfying. Measure your shelf space before choosing.
- Material: PVC/ABS vs resin: PVC/ABS is more durable and budget-friendly, while resin offers higher detail but is more fragile and costly. Consider how often you move or dust your figures.
- Price: value vs premium: At around $18.74, this figure offers good value for a licensed character piece, but premium figures with more accessories or larger scale will cost more. Set a budget that matches your display goals.
