Quick answer
Choose the Barbie Ken Soccer Player Doll for active, sports-themed role-play, and the Holiday Look Barbie Doll for festive display and storytelling.
Play style and theme
The Barbie Ken Soccer Player Doll is built around athletic role-play: he comes with a detailed USSF soccer jersey, shorts, removable cleats, and a soccer ball. This set encourages kids to act out game scenarios, practice goals, or mix him with other sports-themed toys.
The Holiday Look Barbie Doll focuses on seasonal celebration. Her one-shoulder candy cane dress, clutch, earrings, and shoes are designed for dress-up and holiday-themed stories. She's less about action and more about festive fashion.
Display vs. active play
If you're buying for a child who loves running around and creating sports adventures, the Ken doll's removable cleats and ball accessory make him a practical choice. He's sturdy enough for active handling.
The Holiday Barbie's delicate dress and accessories are better suited for older children or collectors who will display her or use her for gentle storytelling. Her outfit is not built for rough play.
