Quick answer
The BC-T125 is a dedicated charger for Fujifilm GFX Series batteries. Follow these tips for safe, efficient charging and longer battery life.
Why use the dedicated charger?
The BC-T125 is designed specifically for GFX Series batteries, ensuring the correct voltage and charging profile. Using third-party chargers may not provide the same safety or efficiency, potentially affecting battery lifespan.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to fully charge a battery?
Charging time depends on the battery capacity and remaining charge. Typically, a depleted battery can take 2–3 hours. The charger's indicator light shows charging status: red while charging, green when complete. Check the indicator light to know when charging is done.
Can I use the BC-T125 with non-Fujifilm batteries?
The BC-T125 is designed exclusively for Fujifilm GFX Series batteries. Using it with other brands may cause improper charging or damage. Stick to Fujifilm batteries for best results.
What should I do if the charger doesn't work?
First, ensure the power cable is securely connected and the outlet is working. If the charger still doesn't power on, check the battery contacts for dirt or debris. Clean gently with a dry cloth. If the issue persists, contact Fujifilm support. Regularly clean battery contacts to maintain a good connection.
Can I charge batteries in a car?
The BC-T125 is designed for household AC power. It does not include a car adapter. For mobile charging, consider a portable power station with a standard AC outlet. Use an AC power source for the BC-T125.
How should I store the charger when not in use?
Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the cable loosely coiled to avoid damage. Avoid storing it in high humidity or extreme temperatures. Proper storage extends the charger's lifespan.
