Quick Verdict

Larger art prints are not automatically more expensive. Janine Payne Illustrations offers the same price for multiple print sizes, so size alone doesn’t dictate cost.

Many shoppers assume that choosing a bigger art print will automatically increase the price tag. This belief fuels hesitation when looking to fill a larger wall space.

At Janine Payne Illustrations, the pricing model challenges that assumption. By keeping the price consistent across several size options, the shop shows that size vs price art prints is a myth, not a rule.

Why Size Doesn’t Always Raise the Price

The catalog lists each art print at a flat USD 17.50, regardless of whether you select 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, or 11x14 inches. This pricing strategy reflects the production cost of the high‑quality matte photo paper and the original oil pastel artwork, which stay the same across sizes. The only variable is the amount of paper used, which the shop absorbs without passing extra cost to the buyer.

Because the artwork is hand‑signed and printed on the same premium material, the perceived value remains consistent. Customers can therefore choose a larger format for a bigger visual impact without worrying about a proportionally larger expense.

  • Check the listed price per print; if it’s identical for all size options, the larger size isn’t more expensive.
