Quick answer
Choose the Sophie Botsford Cat Cards 10 pack for a playful, eco-friendly set of individual cards, or the A Dog's Life Boxed Notecard Set for a versatile gift with multiple designs and envelopes included.
Why the number of cards and included envelopes matter
The Cat Cards pack contains 10 individual cards, while the Dog's Life set includes 6 cards. However, the Dog's Life set comes with envelopes for each card, making it ready to send or gift immediately. The Cat Cards pack does not mention envelopes, so you may need to source them separately if you plan to mail the cards.
Eco-friendly and material differences
Both sets are environmentally conscious, but the Cat Cards pack stands out with its use of vegetable-based inks and 100% uncoated card that is fully recyclable and compostable. The Dog's Life set is also eco-friendly with a cardboard box, but its specific material details are not listed, which may matter if sustainability is your top priority.
Cat Cards vs Dog Notecards: Trade-offs
- Quantity vs variety: Cat Cards gives you 10 identical cards (same illustration), while Dog's Life offers 6 different designs in one box.
- Envelopes included?: Dog's Life set includes envelopes for all 6 cards; Cat Cards pack does not list envelopes, so you may need to buy them separately. If you need a ready-to-mail set, choose the Dog's Life notecards.
- Eco-friendly materials: Cat Cards are printed with vegetable-based inks on uncoated, compostable card. Dog's Life uses eco-friendly cardboard packaging but does not specify card or ink details. For the most transparent sustainability, Cat Cards are the clearer choice.
