Quick answer
The Classic Percale Cozy Ribbed Hardcore Bundle combines crisp percale sheets with a ribbed texture for added warmth and comfort. Use it as a complete set for year-round versatility, layering the ribbed pieces in cooler months and the percale alone in warmer weather.
Why the ribbed texture matters
The ribbed design adds a subtle texture that traps a bit more warmth than smooth percale, making it a great choice for cooler nights. Yet because percale is breathable, you can still use the bundle in warmer seasons if you adjust your layering.
The bundle includes a full set of percale sheets, so you get the crisp feel you expect from Brooklinen plus the cozy ribbed accent. This makes it a versatile option for year-round comfort.
How to use your Classic Percale Cozy Ribbed Hardcore Bundle
- Unpack and inspect: Remove all items from the bundle and check that you have the fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcases. Wash them before first use to soften the fabric and remove any manufacturing residue. Check the care label for washing instructions before you start.
- Make the bed with the percale set: Put the fitted sheet on your mattress, ensuring corners are secure. Add the flat sheet and pillowcases as usual. The crisp percale provides a smooth, breathable base. Smooth out wrinkles while making the bed to reduce ironing later.
- Layer for warmth: In cooler months, add a blanket or duvet over the flat sheet. The ribbed texture of the sheets adds an extra layer of insulation, so you might not need as heavy a blanket as usual. Adjust your top layer based on the temperature and your personal comfort.
- Adjust for warmer weather: When it's warm, skip the top blanket and just use the flat sheet or a light cover. The breathable percale helps wick moisture and keep you cool. Store extra blankets separately so you can easily switch layers.
- Care and maintenance: Wash your sheets in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. Remove them promptly to minimize wrinkles. Avoid high heat, which can damage the fibers. Always follow the care label for best results.
