Quick Answer
The Combat Zone Lawmen Starter Gang is a complete boxed set for fielding a Lawmen force in Cyberpunk RED Combat Zone, but it's best for players who want a ready-to-play gang without extra purchases.
What Makes the Lawmen Starter Gang Different
In the Combat Zone, the Lawmen operate differently from the street gangs. They are well-organized and well-armed, designed to hit hard and get out fast. This is reflected in the miniatures and cards included in the box.
The set includes everything you need to field a complete Lawmen starter gang, which means you can start playing immediately. However, it's not a full army in the traditional sense; it's a starting point that you can expand later.
Trade-Offs to Consider
The main trade-off is that this is a starter gang, not a full force. If you're looking for a massive collection of miniatures, you'll need to buy additional sets. On the other hand, the box is designed to give you a balanced, playable gang right out of the gate.
Another consideration is the theme. If you prefer playing as cyber-enhanced gang members rather than law enforcement, this set may not match your preferred playstyle.
Decision Rules: Should You Buy the Lawmen Starter Gang?
- You want a ready-to-play gang: If you want to start playing Cyberpunk RED Combat Zone right away, this box gives you everything you need for a Lawmen force. Confirm that the included cards match your preferred game mode.
- You prefer the Lawmen theme: If you like the idea of organized, well-armed law enforcement entering the Combat Zone, this set fits that narrative.
- You want to expand later: This is a starter gang, so plan to buy additional miniatures or gangs to grow your force. Check which expansion sets are compatible before purchasing.
