Quick Answer
The Deluxe Accessory Package for a 22-foot shuffleboard table includes everything you need to wax, clean, and protect your table: two cans of shuffleboard wax or powder, a 12-ounce can of silicone spray, a shuffleboard wipe or sweep, a set of shuffleboard bowling pins, and a naugahyde cover.
Why This Package Matters for a 22-Foot Table
A 22-foot shuffleboard table is a large investment, and keeping the playing surface in top condition requires the right supplies. The Deluxe Accessory Package bundles essential maintenance and game items so you don't have to source them separately.
Trade-Off: Pre-Packaged vs. Buying Individually
While the package offers convenience and a slight discount (catalog price USD 173.90, compared to USD 235.00), you may prefer to choose specific wax brands or a different cover material if you have strong preferences. The naugahyde cover is durable but may not match all decor styles.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the package include enough wax for a 22-foot table?
Yes, two cans of shuffleboard wax or powder provide multiple applications. How long they last depends on how often you play and how much you apply each time. Plan to reapply wax every few games or when the surface feels dry.
Can I use the silicone spray on other parts of the table?
The 12-ounce silicone spray is mainly for lubricating the shuffleboard puck and the playing surface. Avoid spraying it on the scoring areas or the cabinet, as it may create a slippery residue.
What is the naugahyde cover for?
The naugahyde cover protects your shuffleboard table from dust, dirt, and accidental spills when not in use. It's a durable synthetic material that fits standard 22-foot tables. Always use the cover when the table is idle to extend the life of the playing surface.
Is the set of bowling pins for actual bowling?
Yes, the included shuffleboard bowling pins allow you to play a bowling variation on your shuffleboard table. Set them up at the far end and use the puck to knock them down. This is an optional game add-on; you do not need to use them for standard shuffleboard play.
