Quick answer
Choose the DiscreetDuo Extra Pumping Set if you need backup parts to keep your wearable pump running with less washing. Pick the b.box + Lansinoh Time to Sip Starter Set if you're ready to introduce independent drinking to your little one.
What each set is designed for
The DiscreetDuo Extra Pumping Set is specifically built for the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo hands-free breast pump. It includes extra parts so you can pump without stopping to wash between sessions, making it ideal for frequent or on-the-go pumping.
The b.box + Lansinoh Time to Sip Starter Set focuses on feeding transitions. It combines a starter cup and sippy cup components to help your child learn to sip independently. This set isn't for pumping—it's a separate feeding milestone tool.
Trade-off at a glance
The main trade-off is purpose. The Extra Pumping Set supports your pumping workflow by reducing downtime, while the Starter Set supports your baby's drinking development. They solve different problems, so your choice depends on whether you need pump parts or feeding accessories right now.
Trade-offs explained
- Purpose: Extra Pumping Set is for maintaining your pumping routine with fewer interruptions. Starter Set is for teaching your baby to drink from a cup.
- Compatibility: Extra Pumping Set works only with the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo wearable pump. Starter Set is a standalone feeding accessory, not tied to any pump.
- When to buy each: Get the Extra Pumping Set when you're pumping regularly and want to reduce dishwashing. Get the Starter Set when your baby is ready to start sipping (typically around 6 months). You may eventually need both, but they serve different stages of your parenting journey.
