Quick Answer
Brew Divine Immunity Blend by steeping one tea bag in freshly boiled water for 5–7 minutes. The astragalus root and herbal blend deliver gentle immune support without caffeine.
Why Brewing Time Matters for Astragalus Root
Astragalus root is a dense, woody herb that releases its beneficial compounds slowly. A short steep (under 3 minutes) will yield a pale, weak cup with minimal immune-supportive properties. Steeping 5–7 minutes allows the root and supporting botanicals to fully infuse, giving a richer, earthier flavor and more effective extraction.
Temperature and Water Quality
Use water just off the boil (around 200°F / 93°C). Boiling water can scorch delicate leaves in the blend, while cooler water may not extract enough from the astragalus root. Filtered water avoids off-flavors from tap water chlorine, letting the herbal notes shine.
How to Brew Divine Immunity Blend Perfectly
- 1. Boil Fresh Water: Heat filtered water to 200°F (just below a rolling boil). Avoid using water that has been boiled multiple times, as it loses oxygen and can make the tea taste flat. Use a thermometer or let boiling water sit 30 seconds before pouring.
- 2. Steep the Tea Bag: Place one Divine Immunity Blend tea bag in your cup and pour the hot water over it. Cover with a saucer or lid to trap heat and volatile oils. Steep for 5–7 minutes. Set a timer; over-steeping (beyond 10 minutes) can make the tea bitter.
- 3. Remove and Enjoy: Gently squeeze the tea bag against the side of the cup with a spoon to extract remaining liquid, then remove. The tea is ready to drink as is—no sweetener needed, but honey or lemon can complement the earthy notes. Do not re-steep the same bag; the astragalus root is fully extracted after one long steep.
