Quick Answer
Display your Daern's Instant Fortress on a stable, dust-free shelf and clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Handle the included 1-inch cube carefully to avoid loss or damage.
Why Placement Matters
The fortress is a table-sized replica that doubles as a dice tower, so it's both a display piece and a functional game accessory. Place it where it won't be bumped during gameplay, yet is visible enough to admire.
Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading of painted details over time. A shelf or game table away from windows is ideal.
Cleaning and Dusting
Dust can accumulate in the tower's crevices and the dice chute. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a gentle brush to remove dust without scratching the surface.
Avoid water, cleaning sprays, or abrasive materials, as they may damage the paint or finish.
Handling the 1-Inch Cube
The included 1-inch cube represents the fortress's compact form and is easy to misplace. Store it in a small container or attach it to the display base when not in use.
The cube is not a toy; keep it away from small children and pets to prevent choking hazards.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Symptom: The fortress looks dusty or dull, especially in crevices.
- Likely cause: Dust accumulation from being displayed without a cover or in a high-traffic area.
- Corrective action: Gently dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush. Avoid water and cleaning chemicals. If dust persists, consider displaying under a glass dome or in a cabinet.
- When to stop or choose another option: If the paint is chipping or the structure is damaged, stop cleaning and contact customer support. For heavy use, consider using a separate dice tower to preserve the replica.
