Quick answer

Choose Super Soft Emme Egg Pairs for a plush, flexible feel, or opt for Near Clear silicone if you prefer a firmer, more defined texture. Your choice depends on whether you prioritize squish or structure.

Understanding the silicone difference

Super Soft silicone (0020) offers an extremely plush, squishy texture that molds easily to your body. It's ideal for those who enjoy gentle pressure and a more forgiving feel.

Near Clear silicone is firmer and more translucent, providing a more defined shape and slightly more resistance. This can enhance sensation for some users but may feel less cushiony.

The trade-off is straightforward: Super Soft maximizes comfort and flexibility, while Near Clear offers more structure and a different visual aesthetic. Consider which factor matters more to you.

Care and durability considerations

Super Soft silicone is delicate and requires careful handling to avoid tears, especially during cleaning and storage. Always use water-based lubricant and store away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

Near Clear silicone is more durable and less prone to damage, making it a better choice if you're concerned about longevity or plan to use the toy more frequently.

Both types are body-safe, but their maintenance needs differ. Super Soft demands gentler care, while Near Clear is more forgiving in everyday use.

Trade-offs at a glance

  • Super Soft silicone: Provides maximum squish and flexibility, but requires delicate handling to avoid damage. Handle with care during cleaning and storage.
  • Near Clear silicone: Offers firmer structure and more durability, but less cushiony feel. Choose this if you prioritize longevity and defined shape.
  • Price vs. features: Super Soft pairs range from $16.25 to $18.50, with near clear options typically priced higher. Balance your budget against your firmness preference.
