Figuier vs Baies Very Large Candle: Scent, Size, and Room Fit

The short answer: pick by atmosphere, not by size

Both Figuier and Baies come in the same very large five-wick format, so the real choice is the scent you want filling the room. Figuier evokes a Mediterranean landscape overlooking an orchard; Baies evokes the tart freshness of just-picked blackcurrant berries with floral rose accents. If you want a green, sunlit, orchard-like atmosphere, choose Figuier. If you want a juicy, fruity-floral atmosphere, choose Baies.

The catalog lists both as very large candles with five wicks, but it does not provide burn times, wax weights, or dimensions in the supplied records. That means you should treat the shared format as the common ground and let scent character, placement, and price guide the decision.

What each candle actually says

• Figuier - Bougie très grand modèle: Figuier - Bougie très grand modèle: a five-wick very large candle that evokes a Mediterranean land overlooking an orchard. The orchard reference points to a green, outdoor, landscape-driven scent rather than a sweet or floral one.

• Baies - Bougie très grand modèle: Baies - Bougie très grand modèle: a five-wick very large candle evoking the tart freshness of just-picked blackcurrant berries and the floral accents of rose. The berry-and-rose description signals a fruity-floral scent, which suits a different mood than Figuier's orchard landscape.

Scent character: green orchard vs fruity-floral

• Figuier: The supplied description centers on a Mediterranean land with a view over an orchard. That suggests a green, sun-warmed, landscape-oriented scent. Choose it when you want the candle to feel like an outdoor setting rather than a bouquet.
• Baies: The supplied description centers on the tart freshness of just-picked blackcurrant berries and the floral accents of rose. That suggests a juicy, bright, fruity-floral scent. Choose it when you want a more lively, sweet-tart presence.

Where each very large candle fits in a room

A five-wick very large candle is a centerpiece format, so placement matters as much as scent. Figuier's orchard landscape reads well in a living room or dining area where you want a green, expansive atmosphere. Baies' berry-and-rose character can suit the same living room but leans more toward a social, fruity-floral mood.

The supplied records do not include room-size recommendations, burn times, or safety instructions. Use the scent description as your guide and follow the care and safety information that comes with the candle itself.

Price context from the catalog

• Figuier - Bougie très grand modèle: Figuier - Bougie très grand modèle is listed at USD 19825.00, with a catalog comparison price of USD 32500.00. This is the lower-priced of the two very large candles in the supplied catalog, which matters if you are choosing between them on budget.
• Baies - Bougie très grand modèle: Baies - Bougie très grand modèle is listed at USD 224.25, with a catalog comparison price of USD 325.00. Baies is listed at a higher price than Figuier in the supplied records, so the scent choice also carries a price difference.

What the catalog does not tell you

The supplied records do not include burn time, wax weight, dimensions, or specific care instructions for either candle. If burn time is a deciding factor for you, treat that as missing information rather than assuming the two candles perform identically. The shared five-wick format is confirmed, but the practical burn duration is not.

This is also why a direct burn-time comparison between Figuier and Baies is not possible from the supplied evidence. You can compare scent and listed price, but not measured performance.

Decision rules for choosing between them

• Choose Figuier if: You want a green, orchard-like, Mediterranean atmosphere and you prefer the lower listed price of the two very large candles.
• Choose Baies if: You want a tart berry and rose scent with a more fruity-floral presence, and the higher listed price is acceptable.
• Choose neither yet if: Burn time or exact dimensions are essential to your decision. Those details are not confirmed in the supplied catalog records, so ask before buying rather than guessing.
