Quick answer
The Final Girl: The Marrek Murders Miniatures set adds four unpainted miniatures to your Series 2 game: one killer, two Final Girls, and a vehicle. It's a direct upgrade for players who want to replace the cardboard standees with sculpted figures.
What you get for the price
At $6.79 (normally $9.99), this is one of the more affordable ways to add plastic miniatures to a Final Girl scenario. The set includes four pieces: one Killer Miniature, two Final Girl Miniatures, and one Vehicle Miniature. That's enough to cover every major character in The Marrek Murders, but you won't get extras like terrain tokens or alternate poses.
Trade-off: painting required
All miniatures come unpainted. If you enjoy painting minis as a hobby, that's a bonus—you can customize the colors. If you just want to play, you'll need to invest time or money in painting or leave them gray. The detail on the sculpts is clean, so even a basic wash and drybrush can look good.
Decision rules
- Do you already own the base game?: If you have Final Girl Series 2 and The Marrek Murders scenario, this set replaces standees with miniatures. If you don't own the scenario yet, buy the scenario first—the miniatures are an add-on, not a standalone game.
- Are you willing to paint?: If you enjoy painting minis, this is a cost-effective way to get sculpted figures. If you don't paint, consider whether you're okay with gray plastic on your board. The miniatures still look fine unpainted, but they won't match the box art.
- Do you need more than one set?: One set covers one game session. If you play with multiple groups or want extra figures for display, buy additional sets. The price per set is low, so buying two for a backup isn't wasteful.
