Quick Answer
The Glo Crew Light-Up Cubes Bundle contains 20 total light-up cubes in five distinct colors, making it a complete starter set for kids who love sensory water play. It's a versatile option for parents seeking a ready-to-go collection without mixing individual packs.
What Makes This Bundle Different
Unlike smaller 4-packs or character-specific sets, the Glo Crew bundle gives you a full rainbow of cubes in one purchase. The five colors included are the original Glo Pals shades, so you get variety without having to track down multiple packages. This saves time and often money compared to buying each color separately.
The bundle is marketed as a springtime and Easter basket idea, but the cubes work year-round for bath time, pools, or even dry sensory bins. The light-up feature activates when the cubes touch water, which adds a visual reward that many kids find engaging.
A Note on What You Don't Get
This bundle does not include characters or themed shapes like the Daniel Tiger or Noodle & Pals sets. If your child is specifically drawn to a licensed character or a particular design, a smaller themed pack might be a better fit. The Glo Crew cubes are the classic, rounded cube design only.
The product listing does not specify battery life or replacement options. Since the cubes are sealed, the light lasts for the lifespan of the internal battery. This is a trade-off for the waterproof design, and you should expect the cubes to eventually stop lighting up after many uses.
Decision Rules for the Glo Crew Bundle
- If you want a complete color set: This bundle gives you all five original colors in one purchase. No need to buy separate 4-packs or guess which colors you're missing.
- If you're on a budget for sensory toys: At a catalog price of USD 38.85 compared to USD 53.96, you save roughly 28% versus buying the cubes individually. It's a cost-effective way to get a large set. Compare the per-cube cost to smaller packs to confirm savings based on current prices.
- If your child prefers characters or themes: This bundle only has plain cubes. For kids who love Daniel Tiger, Noodle & Pals, or other Glo Pals characters, a themed set will be more engaging. Consider a character pack if the child is motivated by familiar faces or specific designs.
- If you need cubes for non-water play: The cubes light up only in water. For dry sensory bins or tabletop play, they won't activate. They still work as regular floating cubes, but the light feature is water-dependent. Use the cubes for bath, pool, or water table play to get the full sensory-light effect.
