Quick Answer
If you want a modern, highly articulated kit with a unique silhouette and iconic weapons, choose the MG Gouf Ver.2.0. If you prefer a classic design with extra pilot figures and decals, go with the RX-78-2 Ver.Ka.
Design and Articulation
The Gouf Ver.2.0 benefits from modern engineering, offering improved articulation compared to the original MG release. This makes it a better choice for dynamic poses and action displays.
The RX-78-2 Ver.Ka, designed by Hajime Katoki, has unique proportions and styling that stand out on a shelf. Its fully poseable inner frame supports a wide range of poses, but the overall design is more about presence than extreme flexibility.
Included Extras and Value
The Gouf Ver.2.0 comes with its signature heat rod, heat sword, shield, and the distinctive five-finger manipulator cannon on the left hand. These weapons make it a complete package for fans of Ramba Ral's mobile suit.
The RX-78-2 Ver.Ka includes beam rifle, beam sabers, shield, hyper bazooka, core fighter, and both sitting and standing Amuro Ray pilot figures. It also comes with designer decals, which add detail but require more time to apply.
