Quick answer
Use your 5L Grapefruit & Orange lotion daily by dispensing a small amount onto damp skin after showering, storing the bulk container in a cool place, and transferring a portion to a smaller pump bottle for easy use.
Why a 5L bottle works for daily use
A 5L bulk lotion is a practical choice for households that go through moisturizer quickly. The large container reduces plastic waste and saves money over time compared to buying smaller bottles. The Grapefruit & Orange scent is uplifting and works well for both morning and evening routines.
Common mistake: over-dispensing
Because the 5L bottle is heavy, it is easy to pour out too much lotion at once. Start with a small amount — about the size of a walnut — and add more if needed. This prevents waste and keeps your skin from feeling greasy.
Daily use steps for your 5L lotion
- Transfer to a smaller bottle: Pour a week's supply into a clean, dry pump bottle (250ml or 500ml). This makes daily application easier and reduces the risk of contaminating the bulk container. Always use a clean funnel and bottle to keep the bulk lotion fresh.
- Apply after showering: Pat skin dry, leaving it slightly damp. Dispense a small amount of lotion into your palm and massage into arms, legs, and torso using upward strokes. Damp skin locks in moisture better. Avoid applying to bone-dry skin — it absorbs less effectively.
- Store the 5L container properly: Keep the bulk bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Tighten the cap after each use. Do not store in the bathroom if it gets steamy. Heat and humidity can degrade natural ingredients over time.
