Quick answer
The PlanToys Green Dollhouse with Furniture is a sustainable wooden dollhouse that teaches eco-conscious living. Set it up on a low table or rug, and arrange the included furniture to create rooms that inspire imaginative play.
Why this dollhouse stands out
The Green Dollhouse is designed with energy-efficient features like a wind turbine, solar panel, and rain barrel, making it a unique tool for teaching sustainability. The included furniture set lets you create a complete home without extra purchases.
Setup considerations
Assembly requires a screwdriver and about 30 minutes. The dollhouse is sturdy but lightweight, so place it on a flat surface away from edges. The furniture pieces are small; keep them away from children under 3 years.
Room ideas and setup rules
- Living room placement: Place the sofa and coffee table near the window to create a cozy living area. Use the blind to adjust light for daytime or nighttime play.
- Kitchen and dining: Arrange the kitchen set and dining table next to the recycling bins. This encourages sorting waste as part of everyday play.
- Bedroom and bathroom: Use the bed and bathtub in the upper floor rooms. Add a small rug or fabric scrap to define the space. Consider labeling rooms with sticky notes to help toddlers learn room names.
