Quick answer
The Guards of Traitor's Toll Wave 2 Bundle collects everything from the Wave 2 release in one purchase: the Guardhouse Heroes, Sinister Citizens, New Recruits, the Guards of Traitor's Toll Hardback Rulebook and the new Advance cards. Buy it if you want the full Wave 2 expansion without tracking down each component separately.
Why the rulebook changes the value calculation
The bundle includes the Guards of Traitor's Toll Hardback Rulebook, not just the miniatures. If you already own the rulebook from another source, you may be paying for a duplicate, so check your shelf before ordering. If you are starting fresh or want a spare table copy, the bundle saves you from buying the book separately.
New Advance cards and what they add
The Wave 2 release introduces new Advance cards that give your guards a Dragonscale upgrade. The bundle includes these cards, so you can use the new abilities without hunting for them individually. The exact card count and full rules text are not listed in the catalog, so treat the bundle as the complete Wave 2 card set rather than a specific number.
Who should skip this bundle
If you only want one warband or a single character, the bundle is more than you need. It is also a poor fit if you already own the hardback rulebook and only want the new models and cards. In those cases, buy the individual components instead. The bundle is priced as a set, so the savings only make sense if you actually want most of the contents.
Wave 2 Bundle FAQ
What exactly is in the box?
The bundle contains the Guardhouse Heroes, Sinister Citizens, New Recruits, the Guards of Traitor's Toll Hardback Rulebook and the new Advance cards from Wave 2. The catalog does not list individual model counts, so check the product page for the final contents list if you need exact numbers.
Do I need the rulebook if I already own it?
If you already have the hardback rulebook, you will receive a duplicate. The bundle still gives you the new models and cards, but the value is lower for you than for a new player. Consider buying the Wave 2 models and cards separately if the book is the only overlap. Check your existing collection before ordering to avoid paying twice for the rulebook.
Are the new Advance cards exclusive to the bundle?
The catalog describes the new Advance cards as part of the Wave 2 release and includes them in the bundle. It does not state whether they are sold separately or are bundle-only. If card availability matters to you, confirm with the store before assuming the bundle is the only way to get them.
Can I use the Wave 2 models with my existing Guards of Traitor's Toll collection?
Yes. The Guardhouse Heroes, Sinister Citizens and New Recruits are additions to the same game, and the Advance cards are designed for your guards. The bundle does not replace your existing models; it expands your options. The catalog does not list any compatibility restrictions, so treat them as standard Wave 2 additions.
Is the bundle a good deal compared with buying separately?
The catalog shows a comparison price of USD 129.00 against a current price of USD 85.14, so the bundle is discounted at the time of writing. Whether it is a good deal for you depends on how many of the included components you actually need. If you want the rulebook, all three model sets and the cards, the bundle is the simpler and cheaper route. Compare the bundle price against the sum of the individual items you actually want, not the full set.
