What Makes the Gundam Unicorn Deck Stand Out?
Centered on the Unicorn Gundam and Banagher Links' destiny, the deck's artwork immerses you in space combat. The card back and face designs emphasize the Unicorn's radiant transformation, with metallic accents that catch light. Unlike generic anime decks, this one ties every visual element to the series' lore—the beast of possibility, the glowing psycho-frame, and the tension of cosmic battles.
How Does It Handle?
USPCC printing gives the deck a familiar, reliable feel—snappy, with a moderate flex that works for both cardistry and casual play. The stock and finish are standard for premium USPCC decks, so if you've handled Bicycle-quality cards, you know what to expect. The tactile feedback is consistent, though the intricate foil on the tuck and card backs may show wear faster than a plain deck.
Who Should Buy This Deck?
This deck is ideal for Gundam collectors who want a playable piece of memorabilia, not just a display item. It also suits cardists who appreciate thematic art and don't mind a slightly stiffer break-in period. If you're looking for a minimalist or minimalist-modern deck, the Gundam Unicorn's busy sci-fi aesthetic may not fit. At $10.56 (compared to $16.00), it's reasonably priced for a licensed USPCC deck.
FAQ: Gundam Unicorn Playing Cards
Is this deck suitable for cardistry?
Yes, the USPCC stock and finish handle well for fans, but the intricate foil may show wear with heavy use. It's a solid performer for casual cardistry. Good for light to moderate cardistry; keep a beater deck for heavy practice.
Does the deck include any special cards?
The deck follows standard playing card layout with custom court and number cards that reflect the Gundam Unicorn theme. No gaff cards or extras are mentioned. Standard 52-card deck with fully custom art.
How does the price compare to similar decks?
At $10.56 (catalog price, down from $16.00), it's competitive for a licensed USPCC deck. Many anime decks in this range use lower-quality printers. Good value for a licensed, USPCC-printed collector deck.
