Quick Answer

For most collectors, the standard HANABI CD single is the right choice—it includes all three tracks and is widely available. Choose a limited edition only if you specifically want bonus packaging or extra content.

What's on the HANABI CD Single?

The HANABI CD single by Mr.Children contains three tracks: the title song 'HANABI', 'タダダキアッテ', and '夏が終わる ～夏の日のオマージュ～'. This is a standard single format—three songs, no extra disc or DVD.

Because the tracklist is short, the main differences between editions usually come down to packaging, bonus items, or regional release details. Knowing exactly what you want before you buy helps you avoid overpaying for extras you don't need.

Edition Differences: What to Look For

Mr.Children singles sometimes come in regular and limited editions. Limited editions may include a different cover, a photo booklet, or a bonus DVD with a music video. The regular edition usually has a standard jewel case with just the CD.

If you're buying online, check the product photos and description for the SKU or catalog number. For example, this single has the SKU TFCC-89257. Matching that number to the edition you want is the most reliable way to avoid surprises.

Decision Rules for Choosing Your HANABI Single

  • If you want the complete tracklist: Buy the standard HANABI CD single—it includes all three tracks and is the most straightforward option. Check the tracklist in the product description to confirm all three songs are included.
  • If you're a packaging collector: Look for a limited edition if it offers a bonus booklet, alternate cover, or extra DVD. If packaging doesn't matter, the standard edition is enough. Compare product photos to see what packaging you're actually getting.
  • If you're buying online: Verify the SKU (e.g., TFCC-89257) in the listing to ensure you're getting the exact edition you want. Match the SKU with official release info before checkout.
