Quick Answer
If you want a full deck experience with a premium feel, go for the Special Edition. If you're on a budget or just want a taste of the artwork, the sticker set is a fun, low-cost addition.
What's the Difference?
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon collection from Room One Cards offers two distinct ways to enjoy the artwork. The Special Edition is a complete playing card deck, while the sticker set is a supplementary product featuring the deck's iconic characters. This means they serve different purposes: one is for playing and collecting, the other for decorating and casual collecting.
Price vs. Value
The sticker set is priced at $5.04 (compared to $8.00), making it an affordable entry point. The Special Edition deck is $12.80 (compared to $20.00), which is a higher investment but includes the full deck. If you're looking to complete your collection without spending much, the sticker set is a budget-friendly option. However, if you value the full experience of a premium deck, the Special Edition offers more substance.
Trade-Offs: Sticker Set vs Special Edition
- Budget: The sticker set is more affordable at $5.04, while the Special Edition costs $12.80. Choose the sticker set if you're on a tight budget.
- Purpose: The sticker set is for decoration and casual collecting, while the Special Edition is for playing and serious collecting. Select based on how you intend to use the product. Consider if you'll actually play with the cards or just display them.
- Collectibility: The Special Edition is a complete deck with a premium feel, making it more collectible. The sticker set is a fun add-on but less substantial. If you're a serious collector, the Special Edition is the better long-term investment.
