Quick answer
To keep the Helios iPhone Case's sun design and rose gold accents vibrant, clean it gently with a microfiber cloth and mild soap, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and remove the case weekly to clear debris.
Why the Helios design needs special care
The Helios case combines metallic rose gold detailing, shimmering white glitter on transparent sections, and a printed sun motif. These elements are more delicate than a solid-color case. Abrasive cleaners or rough handling can scratch the metallic finish or dislodge glitter particles over time.
The 360° Magic Stand is a moving part. Dust and grit can collect in its rotating mechanism, causing stiffness or noise. Regular maintenance keeps the stand smooth and the case looking its best.
Diagnosis: common issues and fixes
- Symptom: dull or faded sun print: Likely cause: exposure to direct sunlight or harsh chemical cleaners. The UV rays can break down printed inks, and alcohol-based wipes strip the finish. Stop using alcohol wipes. Switch to a damp microfiber cloth with a drop of mild dish soap.
- Symptom: scratched rose gold edges: Likely cause: sliding the case across rough surfaces or storing it with keys and coins in a bag. The metallic coating is a thin layer that can wear off with friction. Store the case in a soft pouch or a dedicated pocket when not on the phone.
- Symptom: loose or noisy Magic Stand: Likely cause: dust or lint trapped in the rotating joint. Over time, debris builds up and creates resistance. Remove the case from your phone, rinse the stand area under lukewarm water, let it dry fully, then rotate the stand a few times to redistribute lubricant.
