Quick answer
Use a mild soap and water solution with a soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe your mint green Pixel 9 Pro case. Avoid harsh chemicals or scrubbing to prevent color fading or material damage.
Why mint green cases need special care
Light-colored cases like mint green show dirt and stains more easily than darker shades. The super thin design also means the material is delicate, so aggressive cleaning methods can cause permanent discoloration or scratches.
The Mint Green Lightweight Phone Case - Super Thin is made in partnership with Google to complement the Pixel 9 Pro's form. Its slim profile means there's less material to absorb cleaning products, so you need to be gentle.
Step-by-step cleaning guide
- Remove the case from your phone: Gently take the case off your Pixel 9 Pro. This lets you clean all sides without risking moisture getting into your phone's ports or speakers. Common mistake: cleaning the case while it's still on the phone can trap moisture underneath.
- Prepare a mild cleaning solution: Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water in a small bowl. Avoid bleach, alcohol, or ammonia-based cleaners as they can fade the mint green color or damage the case's finish. Checkpoint: test the solution on a small hidden area first if you're unsure about the material reaction.
- Wipe the case gently: Dip a soft microfiber cloth into the soapy water, wring it out so it's damp not wet, and wipe the entire case surface. For stubborn stains, let the damp cloth sit on the spot for 30 seconds before wiping again. Common mistake: using paper towels or rough sponges can leave micro-scratches on the super thin material.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly: Use a second clean, damp microfiber cloth (with plain water) to remove any soap residue. Then pat dry with a dry microfiber cloth. Let the case air dry completely for at least 30 minutes before putting it back on your phone. Checkpoint: any leftover moisture can cause discoloration or attract more dirt.
