Quick answer
To fit a Waffle Crate Mat Quick Cover, slip it over your existing crate mat like a fitted sheet, aligning corners first, then smoothing out wrinkles. It adds instant comfort and protection.
Why a Quick Cover beats a full replacement
A Quick Cover lets you refresh your dog's crate bedding in seconds without buying a whole new mat. The plush waffle fabric adds a layer of softness that turns any standard crate mat into a cozy retreat.
Choosing the right size
The Waffle Quick Cover is designed to fit snugly over your existing crate mat. Check your mat's dimensions and select the corresponding cover size to avoid bunching or loose fabric.
How to fit your Waffle Crate Mat Quick Cover
- Remove the existing crate mat: Take the old mat out of the crate and lay it flat on the floor. This gives you full access to work with the cover. Make sure the mat is clean and dry before fitting the cover.
- Position the Quick Cover: Open the Quick Cover and identify the top and bottom edges. Place the cover over the mat, aligning the corners first. Common mistake: starting from one side can cause misalignment. Always start with the corners.
- Pull the cover down over the mat: Gently pull the cover down over the mat's edges, working from the corners outward. Smooth out any wrinkles as you go. If the cover feels too tight, check that you have the correct size for your mat.
- Secure the cover in place: Once the cover is fully on, tuck any excess fabric underneath the mat to create a snug fit. Return the mat to the crate. A well-fitted cover should not shift when your dog moves around.
