Quick answer
To replace a lost or broken battery cover on a Circuit Blox set, simply snap the official E-Blox replacement cover onto the battery compartment until it clicks securely into place.
Why you might need a replacement cover
The battery cover on Circuit Blox blocks is a small plastic part that can easily get misplaced during play or storage. Without it, batteries may fall out, interrupting your circuits and potentially damaging the contacts. The official replacement part is a single-piece accessory designed specifically for the Circuit Blox system, ensuring a snug fit.
Step-by-step replacement guide
- Remove the old or broken cover: If the old cover is still attached, gently pry it off using your fingernail or a small flathead screwdriver. Be careful not to damage the plastic tabs on the battery compartment. Check that the battery compartment tabs are intact before installing the new cover.
- Insert batteries if needed: Place the required batteries into the compartment, matching the polarity markings (+ and -) inside. The cover will not fit properly if batteries are misaligned or missing. Always use fresh batteries of the correct type for your Circuit Blox set.
- Align the new cover: Position the replacement cover over the battery compartment so that the small tabs on the cover line up with the slots on the block. Press down evenly until you hear a click. If the cover does not click into place, remove it and check for obstructions or misalignment.
- Test the fit: Gently tug on the cover to confirm it is secure. If it lifts off easily, repeat step 3, ensuring the tabs are fully engaged. A loose cover may allow batteries to disconnect during movement.
