Quick answer
The Bala Yogi Kit is a curated set of four yoga essentials designed to create a complete practice space at home or on the go. It's best for yogis who want coordinated gear and don't need to customize each piece individually.
What the Yogi Kit includes and what it doesn't
The Yogi Kit bundles a set of Bala Bangles (choose your weight), a set of Bala Balance Blocks, a Play Mat, and a Play Mat Towel. This covers the core gear for most yoga flows: wrist/ankle weights, support blocks, a non-slip mat, and a towel for grip or sweat. What it doesn't include is any carrying bag, straps, or bolsters, so if those are must-haves for your practice, you'll need to source them separately.
Who the Yogi Kit works best for
This kit shines for yogis who value convenience and a cohesive look. If you're building a home studio from scratch or want one bagless grab-and-go set for the studio, the Yogi Kit removes the guesswork of matching colors and weights. It's also a solid gift option for someone who practices regularly but hasn't invested in a full set of accessories.
Who might want to skip it
If you already own a mat, blocks, or weights, the Yogi Kit likely duplicates gear you don't need. Similarly, if you prefer a specific mat thickness or block density that isn't offered here, buying each item individually gives you more control. The kit's value comes from the bundle price (USD 174.75, compared to USD 233.00 if bought separately), so check that you'd actually use every piece before committing.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is in the Bala Yogi Kit?
The kit includes one set of Bala Bangles (you pick the weight), one set of Bala Balance Blocks, one Play Mat, and one Play Mat Towel. All items are chosen to work together for a full yoga session.
Can I choose the weight of the Bala Bangles?
Yes, when you order the Yogi Kit, you can select the weight for the Bala Bangles. The blocks, mat, and towel come in a fixed design. Make sure to pick the bangle weight that matches your strength training goals.
Is the Yogi Kit a good value?
The kit is priced at USD 174.75, compared to a catalog comparison price of USD 233.00 if you bought each item separately. That's a saving of about USD 58.25, but only if you need all four pieces. Calculate whether you'd use every item before buying the bundle.
Who is the Yogi Kit not for?
