The real choice is mood, not just the musician

Both posters come from artist Dmitry Belov and share the same four size options, so the practical differences are smaller than you might expect. The meaningful comparison is the feel each portrait brings to a room: Hendrix leans toward electric, rock-and-roll energy, while the Bohemian Rhapsody piece reads as a bold pop-culture tribute to Freddie Mercury. Start there, then use size and framing to finish the decision.

Neither poster is framed or mounted in the catalog, so plan for how you will display it before it arrives. That single step will separate a print that looks intentional from one that sits in a tube.

What the catalog confirms about each poster

  • Jimi Hendrix: Jimi Hendrix poster by Dmitry Belov, available in 11"x14", 11"x17", 16"x20", and 24"x36". The four-size range means you can scale the same artwork from a small desk-side wall to a large feature wall without changing the design.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody: Bohemian Rhapsody poster by Dmitry Belov, also available in 11"x14", 11"x17", 16"x20", and 24"x36". Because both posters share the same size ladder, your decision comes down to the image and the room, not availability.

    Bohemian Rhapsody

    Bohemian Rhapsody

  • Jimi Hendrix: Catalog price is USD 15.75, with a comparison price of USD 25.00. If budget is tight, the Hendrix poster is the lower-cost entry point in this pair, leaving more room for a frame.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody: Catalog price is USD 17.75, with a comparison price of USD 25.00. The Bohemian Rhapsody poster costs two dollars more than the Hendrix piece, so the price gap is small enough that image preference should lead.

Where each poster pulls ahead

Choose the Jimi Hendrix poster if you want a rock-and-roll focal point and a slightly lower starting price. The catalog describes it as a unique artistic rendition for music enthusiasts and collectors, which suits a listening corner, a studio, or a hallway that can carry a stronger graphic.

Choose the Bohemian Rhapsody poster if the Freddie Mercury tribute is the story you want on the wall. The catalog frames it as a bold pop-culture statement and a striking tribute to one of music's greatest legends. That makes it a natural fit for a living room or a collection where the subject matters as much as the design.

Side-by-side decision points

  • Size flexibility: Both posters offer 11"x14", 11"x17", 16"x20", and 24"x36". No advantage either way.
  • Framing: Both are described as ideal for framing or display, but neither ships framed. Budget for a frame in either case.
  • Price: Hendrix is USD 15.75; Bohemian Rhapsody is USD 17.75. The difference is small, so treat price as a tiebreaker only.
  • Mood: Hendrix reads as rock-and-roll energy; Bohemian Rhapsody reads as a bold pop-culture tribute to Freddie Mercury.

Sizing notes before you commit

The catalog gives four sizes but no paper weight, finish, or border measurements. That absence matters when you are framing: without a stated border, you cannot assume a standard mat opening will fit without checking the print itself.

  • 11"x14": A compact option for a shelf, desk, or narrow wall where the poster is part of a small arrangement.
  • 11"x17": A middle size that suits a hallway or a secondary wall without dominating the room.
  • 16"x20": A common feature size for a living room or bedroom wall, large enough to read from across the room.
  • 24"x36": The statement size. Use it where the poster can anchor a wall, and plan for a frame that can handle the larger footprint.

Questions before you choose

Can I hang both posters together?

Yes, if you want a small music-themed gallery. They share the same size options and artist, so a matching pair in the same size and frame style is straightforward. The catalog does not show them as a set, so buy each separately.

Which poster is better for a first apartment?

The Jimi Hendrix poster costs less at USD 15.75 and carries a clear rock identity. If you prefer the Freddie Mercury tribute, the Bohemian Rhapsody poster is only two dollars more, so pick the image you will still want on the wall.

Do either of these come framed?

The catalog describes both as ideal for framing or display but does not list a frame as included. Treat framing as a separate purchase.

What if I need a size not listed?

The catalog lists only 11"x14", 11"x17", 16"x20", and 24"x36" for both posters. If none of those fits your wall, these are not the right prints for that space.
