Quick answer
The Leander junior fitted sheet 2-pack is designed for the Leander Classic junior bed (60x140 cm) and also fits standard junior beds measuring 70x140 cm. The organic cotton jersey is machine washable at 60 °C for easy care.
Why size matters for a junior fitted sheet
A fitted sheet that is too loose can bunch up and become uncomfortable for your child, while one that is too tight may not stay in place. The Leander junior sheet uses a stretchy jersey knit that adapts to the mattress depth, but the base dimensions still need to match the bed frame.
The 2-pack includes two identical sheets, so you always have a clean one ready without waiting for laundry day.
Care considerations for organic cotton jersey
Organic cotton jersey is soft and breathable, but it can shrink slightly in the first wash. Washing at 60 °C is safe for the fabric and helps remove allergens and dust mites, which is especially useful for children with sensitive skin.
Avoid fabric softener, as it can coat the cotton fibers and reduce absorbency. Tumble drying on low heat is fine, but air drying helps the elastic last longer.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Leander junior sheet fit a 70x140 cm bed?
Yes. The sheet is designed for the Leander Classic junior bed (60x140 cm), but the stretchy jersey also fits standard junior beds measuring 70x140 cm. The elastic hem keeps it secure on both sizes.
How should I wash the Leander junior sheet?
Machine wash at 60 °C with similar colors. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Tumble dry on low or air dry. The high temperature helps remove allergens and keeps the organic cotton fresh. Washing at 60 °C is safe and recommended for hygiene.
What is the Snow color like?
Snow is a clean, bright white shade that matches the Leander Sleep linen collection. It stays crisp when washed correctly and pairs well with any nursery or bedroom decor.
Can I use this sheet on a mattress thicker than 10 cm?
The sheet is designed for standard junior mattress depths. If your mattress is significantly thicker, the elastic may not hold as securely. Measure your mattress depth before purchasing if you are unsure. Check mattress depth if it exceeds 12 cm.
Why does the pack contain two sheets?
The 2-pack gives you a spare sheet for quick changes during the night or while the other is in the wash. It is a practical choice for busy parents.
