Start with the box, not the shelf

The Collector's Box featuring new art by Burasto is the first thing that shows wear, and it protects everything else. Before you put anything on display, decide where the box will live. A spot away from direct sunlight and heat keeps the printed art from fading and the board from warping. If you plan to display the box face-out, check that the shelf is deep enough so the box isn't hanging over the edge.

Keep the box closed when you're not using the contents. Dust settles into the corners and textured finishes, and small pieces like the sticker sheet are easy to lose once the box is open on a shelf.

A simple routine for the paper and disc contents

The paper goods and CD are the parts most likely to pick up fingerprints, bends, or scratches. Handle them with clean, dry hands and put them back in the box after each look.

  • Artbook (72pp): Flip through with clean hands and avoid leaving it open face-down, which stresses the spine. Store it flat or upright with support so the pages don't curl.
  • CD Soundtrack: Hold the disc by its edges and return it to its case after listening. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat, which can warp the disc.
  • Sticker sheet: Leave stickers on the backing until you're ready to use them. Once peeled, they won't go back neatly, so decide where they'll go before you remove any.
  • Luggage Tag: If you attach it to a bag, expect the surface to pick up scuffs. If you want to keep it pristine, store it flat inside the box instead.

Displaying the acrylic standees without damage

The Acrylic Chibi-Standees are the most fragile display piece in the set. Acrylic scratches easily, so keep them away from keys, coins, and other hard objects on the shelf. When you handle them, hold the edges rather than the printed face. If you need to clean them, use a soft dry cloth first; avoid abrasive materials that could dull the surface. Display them where they won't be knocked over, and consider a shelf with a small lip or a stable base if you have pets or young children.

If you rotate your display, store the standees flat in the box rather than standing them loose in a drawer where they can rub against each other.

What's in the box and why it matters for care

  • Long Gone Days - Collector’s Edition: Collector's Edition includes: physical game, sticker sheet, artbook (72pp), luggage tag, CD soundtrack, acrylic chibi-standees, and a Collector's Box featuring new art by Burasto. Each item has different care needs, so knowing the full contents helps you plan storage and display without misplacing small pieces.

Long Gone Days - Collector’s Edition

  • Long Gone Days - Collector’s Edition: Available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The game case size is the same, but the box is designed to hold the edition, so keep the game inside the Collector's Box when not in use.

Setting up a shelf that protects the edition

  1. Choose a stable, shaded spot: Pick a shelf away from radiators, windows, and damp walls. Consistent temperature and low light slow fading and warping.
  2. Measure depth and height: The Collector's Box needs to sit fully on the shelf. Leave a little headroom so you can lift it out without scraping the art.
  3. Use a soft, clean surface: Line the shelf with a clean, dry material that won't scratch the box. Avoid anything abrasive or sticky.
  4. Keep small parts together: Store the sticker sheet, luggage tag, and standees inside the box when not displayed. A small zip bag can keep loose pieces from rubbing together.
  5. Check monthly: Look for dust, leaning, or moisture. A quick dust with a dry cloth prevents buildup that can scratch printed surfaces.

When your edition arrives: a quick condition check

Before you put anything away, inspect the box and contents in good light. Check the corners of the Collector's Box for dents, the artbook for bent pages, and the acrylic standees for cracks. If you spot a problem, contact the store promptly; don't assume it will be easy to replace later. Keep the shipping box and packing materials until you've confirmed everything is in good shape, since they make a return or exchange easier.

Note that customers outside the U.S. may be subject to VAT and import charges, and all international orders are sent DDU. Those fees are separate from the product condition, so check your local rules before ordering if that affects your budget.
