Quick answer

Choose the Luxe Wall Thin if you want a wide mat that makes your photo feel like gallery art; choose the Luxe Wall Wide if you prefer a bolder frame profile with a regular mat for a more substantial look.

Frame width and visual impact

The Luxe Wall Thin frame is only 0.3 inches wide, creating a nearly invisible border that lets the wide mat and your photo take center stage. This works especially well for images with strong composition or vibrant colors you want to highlight without distraction.

The Luxe Wall Wide frame uses a wider wood profile (milled in North Carolina) that gives the frame more presence on the wall. It pairs with a regular mat, so the mat itself is less prominent and the frame becomes a deliberate design element.

Mat options and photo presentation

The Thin model comes with a wide mat, which adds breathing room around the print and can make smaller photos feel larger. The Wide model uses a regular mat, which keeps the mat-to-frame ratio more balanced and suits photos that already fill most of the frame area.

Both frames print your photo on Entrada Archival 100% cotton fine-art paper for rich color and archival quality, so the image quality is identical regardless of frame choice.

Trade-offs at a glance

  • Frame width: Thin: 0.3" wide – nearly invisible border. Wide: wider wood profile – more frame presence.
  • Mat type: Thin: wide mat – adds breathing room, makes small photos feel larger. Wide: regular mat – balanced mat-to-frame ratio.
  • Best photo fit: Thin: photos with strong composition or vibrant colors that you want to stand alone. Wide: photos that already fill most of the frame area or need a bolder frame to anchor the room. Consider the size of your photo and the wall space before deciding.
