Quick answer
Choose the M&G Miffy gel pen if you want a reliably cute, always-available pen with a 3D character clip. Pick the Link Click x LINE FRIENDS blind box if you enjoy the surprise of collecting exclusive character artwork and don't mind the random draw.
Design and collectibility
The M&G Miffy pen is a straightforward open-stock purchase: you get the exact Miffy-themed pen you see, with a soft pastel body and a 3D character clip that adds a playful desk accent. It's a guaranteed design every time.
The Link Click x LINE FRIENDS blind box is a mystery product. Each box contains one random gel pen and a matching bookmark featuring exclusive artwork of Cheng Xiaoshi, Lu Guang, Qiao Ling, or their minini counterparts. The surprise factor is the main draw, but you may not get your favorite character on the first try.
Writing performance and everyday use
Both pens use 0.5mm black gel ink and are designed for smooth, precise writing. The M&G Miffy pen highlights quick-dry ink, which helps prevent smudging during fast note-taking. Its click-style mechanism allows one-hand operation.
The Link Click x LINE FRIENDS pen also uses a 0.5mm black gel tip, so writing feel should be similar. The main difference is that the Link Click pen comes bundled with a themed bookmark, adding value for fans who want matching stationery. However, because it's a blind box, you cannot choose the pen's exterior design in advance.
Price and value
The M&G Miffy pen is priced at USD 2.95 (down from USD 3.99), making it the more affordable option. You know exactly what you're paying for, and there's no risk of duplication if you want multiple pens.
The Link Click x LINE FRIENDS blind box costs USD 3.69 (down from USD 4.99). The higher price reflects the licensed character artwork and the included bookmark. If you're a collector who enjoys the reveal, the extra cost may be worth it; if you just need a reliable pen, the Miffy is the better value.
