Quick Answer
The SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Case Cover fits MacBook Pro 16-inch models from 2021 through 2026. Setup is straightforward: snap the bottom half onto your laptop, then press the top half into place.
Why Fit Matters for Your MacBook Pro 16
A case that doesn't fit properly can block ports, interfere with heat dissipation, or even damage the chassis. The Unicorn Beetle design is molded specifically for the 16-inch MacBook Pro's dimensions across multiple generations, so you get a snug fit without added bulk.
The vibrant purple finish is more than cosmetic—it adds a layer of scratch resistance while keeping the laptop's original look visible. Just be aware that a tight-fitting case may require a bit of patience during removal to avoid flexing the screen lid.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which MacBook Pro models does the Unicorn Beetle Case fit?
It fits MacBook Pro 16-inch models released from 2021 through 2026. If you have a 2021, 2023, or 2026 model, the case will match the chassis dimensions.
How do I install the case?
Start by cleaning your MacBook's exterior. Snap the bottom half of the case onto the base, aligning the cutouts for ports and vents. Then press the top half over the display lid until it clicks into place. The case is designed for tool-free installation. Ensure the case is fully seated before closing the lid to avoid stress on the hinges.
Will the case interfere with MagSafe charging or USB-C ports?
No. The case has precision cutouts for MagSafe, Thunderbolt ports, and the headphone jack. You can charge and connect accessories without removing the case.
Is the case easy to remove?
Yes, but do it carefully. Gently pry the top half off starting from a corner, then remove the bottom half. Avoid twisting the laptop body to prevent damage. If the case feels very tight, warm it slightly with a hair dryer on low heat to soften the material before removal.
Does the case add significant bulk?
The Unicorn Beetle Case is slim-profile—it adds minimal thickness while still providing drop protection. You can still slide the laptop into most sleeves or bags.
