Quick answer

Choose the MaoMao desk mat if you want a character-focused, bright design, or go with Into The Night for a darker, atmospheric look that blends into a moody setup.

Design aesthetic differences

The MaoMao desk mat features the protagonist in a lively, detailed scene that draws the eye and works as a centerpiece for your desk. The Into The Night mat uses a darker, more subdued palette that complements RGB lighting and minimalist or night-themed rooms.

Both mats are 900x400mm, a standard extra-large size that covers most desks or serves as an oversized mousepad. The choice comes down to whether you want the character front and center or prefer a moody backdrop.

Practical considerations

Neither mat includes a stitched edge or waterproof coating in the supplied catalog facts, so treat them as standard cloth desk pads. They are excellent as a desk cover or large mousepad, as stated in the product details.

The price difference is small: the MaoMao mat is $35.99 (was $49.99), while Into The Night is $33.99 (was $49.99). Both offer the same size and general construction.
