Quick answer
The Mass Effect Eclipse Mercenaries vinyl sticker is designed for durability, resisting water and fading better than paper stickers, but it's not fully weatherproof for outdoor use.
What makes vinyl different from paper stickers
Vinyl stickers are made from a flexible, waterproof material that holds up to light moisture and handling. The Eclipse Mercenaries sticker is about 1.87 by 1.89 inches, making it a compact but sturdy collectible. Unlike paper stickers, vinyl won't tear easily or smudge when wet, but it's still best kept on smooth, clean surfaces.
Frequently asked questions about the Eclipse Mercenaries vinyl sticker
Is the sticker waterproof?
Vinyl is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light rain or spills without damage. However, it's not designed for full submersion or constant wet conditions. For best longevity, avoid placing it on items that are frequently soaked.
Will it fade in sunlight?
Vinyl stickers are more UV-resistant than paper, but prolonged direct sunlight can still cause fading over time. For maximum color retention, apply the sticker indoors or on surfaces with indirect light.
How do I clean the sticker?
Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or scrubbing, as these can damage the print or adhesive. For sticky residue, use a mild adhesive remover and test on a small area first. Clean only when needed to preserve the sticker's finish.
Can I remove and reposition it?
Vinyl stickers are generally one-time application. Once applied, the adhesive bonds firmly. Attempting to remove it may stretch or damage the sticker. If you need to move it, consider a fresh sticker for the new spot.
Is it safe for dishwashers or microwaves?
No. The sticker is not rated for high heat or dishwasher cycles. Avoid applying it to items that go through these appliances, as the adhesive and vinyl can warp or peel.
