Quick answer
The Mirka Portable Vacuum DE-1230-PC 1025L is the latest model designed for professional dust extraction, offering a portable solution for a cleaner sanding and finishing workspace.
Why portability matters in a shop vacuum
A fixed dust collector works for stationary tools, but when you move between workstations or take your sander to a job site, a portable vacuum saves setup time. The DE-1230-PC is built to move with you, which is a practical advantage for pros who don't work from a single bench.
Trade-off: no bag capacity or filter type specified
The catalog facts confirm the unit is the latest model and is portable, but they do not list dust bag capacity, filter type, or decibel rating. If you need a vacuum for fine particulate from drywall or hardwoods, you may want to verify those specs before buying. For general sanding debris, the unit's performance should be adequate.
