Quick answer
Buy this Mr.Children CD single if you want the studio version of 名もなき詩 plus its instrumental and the B-side また会えるかな on one disc. Skip it if you only stream the hit or expect bonus video or remixes, because the release is a three-track audio CD.
What the three tracks actually give you
The disc runs in a clear order: the title song, a second vocal track, then an instrumental of the title song. That structure makes it more useful as a listening copy than as a collector's trove. The instrumental is the practical extra here, since it lets you hear the arrangement without the vocal. The B-side is a separate song, not a remix, so it adds a genuine second listening moment rather than a variant of the same recording.
Why a three-track CD single still makes sense in 2026
Most listeners can pull up the hit in seconds, so the reason to own this disc is narrower: you want a physical copy of the single as it was originally sequenced, or you want the instrumental and B-side that streaming playlists often leave out. If neither matters to you, a digital queue does the same job with less shelf space.
The trade-offs to accept before checkout
This is a compact disc single, not an album, so do not expect a booklet of lyrics, a DVD, or alternate mixes unless the listing explicitly shows them. The supplied catalog facts list only the three audio tracks and no bonus formats. Also check the product page for the specific edition and condition before you buy, because the catalog does not identify a 通常盤 (standard edition) or any limited version. If edition details matter to you, treat that gap as a reason to ask the store first.
Decision rules for buying this single
- Buy it if you want the instrumental: Choose this disc when the instrumental of 名もなき詩 is the reason you are shopping. It is the only non-vocal version listed, and streaming catalogs often omit it.
- Buy it if the B-side matters to you: Pick this single if また会えるかな is a song you want in your library. It is a distinct track, not a remix, so it adds real listening value beyond the hit.
- Skip it if you only want the hit: Do not buy this CD just to hear 名もなき詩. A streaming or digital copy covers that need, and the disc adds no video or alternate mixes to justify the shelf space.
- Confirm the edition before you pay: Check the listing for the exact edition and condition, because the catalog does not specify a 通常盤 or limited pressing. If the edition is not stated, ask the store before checkout. A quick edition check prevents buying a copy that duplicates one you already own.
