Quick answer

Both NIV and KJV editions of God's Fingerprint are identical in design—each shows one handwritten verse from every book of the Bible. The only real difference is the translation: NIV for modern readability, KJV for traditional phrasing.

Same design, different translation

God's Fingerprint prints share the same layout: a vertical arrangement starting with Genesis 1:1 at the bottom and ending with a "Hallelujah!" from Revelation at the top. Every book of the Bible appears in between, handwritten in a single flowing line. The only variable is which translation you choose—NIV or KJV.

If you already have a preferred Bible translation for reading or study, that preference will naturally guide your choice. The print is meant to be a visual reminder of Scripture, so picking the version you connect with most makes the piece more meaningful.

NIV vs KJV trade-offs

  • Translation style: NIV uses modern, accessible language. KJV uses Early Modern English with older vocabulary and grammar.
  • Readability: NIV is easier to read quickly, especially for newer readers or those who want to grasp the verse meaning without stopping. KJV may require slower reading but offers a poetic rhythm.
  • Personal connection: Choose the edition that matches the translation you use for personal study, memorization, or church tradition. If you regularly read or quote one version, that is your best fit. If you are buying as a gift, consider the recipient's usual Bible translation.
