Quick answer
The Duux Storage Case is a dedicated, clean-styled storage solution for North 9, 12, and 14K models. It is best if you need a protective home for your device when not in use, but not essential if you already have a safe, dust-free spot.
Why a dedicated storage case matters
Your Duux North device is an investment in comfort. When it is not running, dust, accidental bumps, and misplaced parts can shorten its lifespan. A purpose-built case keeps everything together and protected.
The Duux Storage Case matches the clean, functional design of the North series, so it does not look out of place in your home. It is a simple, no-fuss way to store your device between seasons.
Trade-offs to consider
The case is designed specifically for North 9, 12, and 14K models. If you own a different Duux model, this case will not fit. Also, the case provides physical protection and organization but does not include any climate control or padding beyond the standard construction.
At a catalog price of USD 26.39 (compared to USD 39.99), it is a reasonable investment for dedicated storage. However, if you already have a clean, dry, and safe shelf or cabinet, the case may be an unnecessary extra.
How to decide
- Check your model: Only buy if you own a North 9, North 12, or North 14K. The case is not compatible with other Duux models.
- Assess your current storage: If your device sits on an open shelf or floor where it can collect dust or get knocked over, the case adds protection. If you already have a closed cabinet or dedicated spot, you may not need it. The case is most useful when your device is stored in a high-traffic or dusty area.
- Consider the price: At USD 26.39 (down from USD 39.99), the case is an affordable add-on. But it is still an extra cost—skip it if you are on a tight budget and your current storage is adequate.
