Quick answer

For Pixie Zoey 600% and BOBOCO 500% plush, spot-clean with a damp cloth, fluff with a soft brush, and display away from direct sunlight to preserve their color and shape.

Why oversized plush needs different care

Oversized plush toys (400% and up) are too large for standard washing machines, and their size makes them prone to dust buildup and flattening. The Pixie Zoey 600% and BOBOCO 500% are statement pieces, so keeping them clean and fluffy is key to maintaining their display appeal.

Because of their size, you'll need to adapt your cleaning routine: spot cleaning is safer than full immersion, and regular fluffing helps restore their shape after compression.

Trade-offs: spot cleaning vs. machine washing

Machine washing an oversized plush can damage its internal filling and distort its shape, especially for detailed designs like the Pixie Zoey's floral theme. Spot cleaning with a mild detergent and water is gentler and prevents color bleeding.

For deeper cleaning, consider professional services—but for most dust and minor stains, a damp cloth and a soft brush are sufficient.

Diagnosing and fixing common oversized plush issues

  • Symptom: Your plush looks dusty or has small surface stains.
  • Likely cause: Dust settles on large surfaces, and spills or handling can leave marks.
  • Corrective action: Spot-clean with a damp microfiber cloth and a drop of mild detergent. Gently dab, don't rub. For fluffing, use a soft-bristle brush in circular motions. Always test cleaning solution on a hidden area first.
  • When to stop or choose another option: If the stain persists or the plush has an odor, consider professional cleaning. If the plush is heavily soiled or the fabric is delicate, avoid submerging it in water. For persistent issues, contact the manufacturer or a professional cleaner.
