Quick Answer
Yes, the Persona 30th Anniversary Jazz Album is worth collecting if you value Persona's musical legacy and enjoy jazz arrangements of iconic game tracks. It offers a unique listening experience and a milestone collectible at a reasonable price.
Why the Persona 30th Jazz Album Stands Out
The Persona series has always been celebrated for its music, from the foundational themes of the first game to the instantly classic songs of Persona 5. This jazz album reimagines that beloved soundtrack in a new style, making it more than just a compilation—it's a fresh take on familiar melodies.
For collectors, this release marks a significant milestone: thirty years of Persona. It's a piece of gaming history that also offers a different listening experience compared to the original electronic and rock-infused tracks.
Considering the Price and Value
At a catalog price of $19.51 (compared to $31.99), this vinyl offers an accessible entry point for both new collectors and long-time fans. The price reflects its status as a special edition, but it's still reasonable compared to many other limited-run vinyl releases.
If you're on a budget, this is a cost-effective way to own a piece of Persona history without breaking the bank. However, if you're not a fan of jazz arrangements, you might prefer the original soundtracks.
