Quick Answer

Choose the PicassoTiles Construction Crew for a budget-friendly, vehicle-focused building set; choose the Blippi Playset for a larger, character-rich construction playset with more structural pieces.

What Each Set Offers

The PicassoTiles Construction Crew Magnetic Building Blocks Set (SKU: PTQ21) is a compact, vehicle-themed set that includes magnetic construction vehicle toy tiles. It is designed for kids who love trucks and diggers and want to build their own construction sites with a focus on vehicle play.

The Blippi Magnetic Tiles Construction Site & Excavator Playset by PicassoTiles is a larger 57-piece set that combines transparent magnetic tiles with a rolling construction vehicle, a movable crane, a bucket, three Blippi figurines, structural components, and reusable stickers. It encourages both building and storytelling, allowing children to assemble garages, loading towers, workshops, or original job sites.

Key Differences in Play Experience

The Construction Crew set is more straightforward: it emphasizes vehicle play with magnetic building blocks that attach to the vehicles. It is ideal for younger children or those who prefer simple, open-ended construction.

The Blippi set adds a layer of narrative play with licensed characters and themed stickers. The movable crane and bucket expand the building possibilities, and the larger piece count supports more complex structures. This set is better suited for children who enjoy role-playing and following a theme.
