Quick answer
Choose Pig Family if you want a compact, family-themed collectible with a lower price per inch and a heartwarming design. Choose Happy Ghast if you prefer a taller, sky-themed figure with a pilot hat and a slightly lower upfront price.
Size and display space
Pig Family stands 3.4 inches tall, while Happy Ghast reaches 4.2 inches. That 0.8-inch difference matters if you’re arranging a shelf with other Minecraft collectibles: Happy Ghast takes up more vertical room but can serve as a taller focal point, while Pig Family fits neatly in tighter spots or alongside smaller figures.
Price and value
At catalog prices, Pig Family is $22.49 (compared to $29.99) and Happy Ghast is $19.79 (compared to $29.99). Happy Ghast costs less upfront, but Pig Family gives you more height per dollar. If budget is the main driver, Happy Ghast wins; if you want the most plastic for your money, Pig Family is the better deal.
Design and theme
Pig Family shows a large pig with a brown saddle and three piglets, with red hearts rising from its head—a warm, family-oriented scene. Happy Ghast floats in the clouds wearing a brown pilot hat with goggles and a blue cloth with golden trim, giving it a light, adventurous feel. Pick the theme that matches the rest of your collection or the recipient’s personality.
Key trade-offs
- Size vs. shelf space: Pig Family is 3.4 inches tall; Happy Ghast is 4.2 inches. Measure your display area before buying—Happy Ghast needs more vertical clearance. If space is tight, Pig Family is the safer pick.
- Upfront cost vs. value: Happy Ghast costs less ($19.79 vs. $22.49), but Pig Family offers more height per dollar. Decide whether price or size matters more. Set a budget first, then choose based on which factor you value more.
- Theme and mood: Pig Family is family-focused with hearts; Happy Ghast is sky-themed with a pilot hat. Match the theme to the recipient’s interests or your existing collection. Consider the recipient’s favorite Minecraft elements before deciding.
