Quick answer

Choose the Pink Unicorn if your child loves unicorns and you want the lower price; choose the Teal Dino if dinosaurs win and a slightly higher price is fine. Both bottles share the same leak-proof flip-straw design, so the decision comes down to color preference and budget.

What actually differs between the two bottles

The Pink Unicorn and Teal Dino bottles are the same ZOKU Kids Flip Straw Bottle model. They share the leak-proof body, press-to-open straw, secure lock, and fold-down carrying loop. The only differences are the exterior color and the catalog price. That means you can pick based on your child's favorite color without worrying about function.

The trade-off: price vs. preference

The Pink Unicorn is listed at USD 9.14, while the Teal Dino is USD 10.04. That 90-cent gap is small, but it matters if you're buying for a classroom or a group. If your child is set on dinosaurs, the extra cost is likely worth it to avoid a bottle they won't want to carry. If both colors are acceptable, the Pink Unicorn saves a little.

Why color can affect daily use

A bottle your child likes is more likely to go to school and come home. Color preference can reduce lost bottles and reminders to drink. Since both bottles are identical in function, the color choice is the main lever for encouraging consistent hydration.

Key trade-offs to weigh

  • Color preference: Ask your child which color they prefer. If they have a strong preference, choose that bottle even if it costs slightly more. A bottle they love is more likely to be used daily.
  • Budget: The Pink Unicorn is USD 9.14 and the Teal Dino is USD 10.04. If you're buying multiple bottles, the savings add up. Check the current price before ordering for a group.
  • Shared features: Both bottles have the same leak-proof design, flip straw, and folding loop. You are not sacrificing function for color. Focus on color and price, not features.
