How to unbox and play with your Playfoam Pals S7 Space Squad
- Open the pod over a tray or flat surface: Twist or pull apart the rocket ship or UFO container. The Playfoam Space Mix may be packed tightly, so use gentle pressure. Common mistake: opening over a carpet or textured surface can make small accessories harder to find.
- Dig through the Starry Playfoam to find the pal and accessories: Use your fingers to sift through the foam—it won't stick to hands or surfaces. Locate the astronaut or alien pal and the two surprise accessories. Common mistake: rushing the reveal; part of the fun is the tactile exploration. Check that you've found all three hidden items before discarding the foam.
- Remove the glow-in-the-dark Playfoam core: Once you've found the pal and accessories, pull out the glow-in-the-dark core. It's a separate piece of Playfoam that glows after brief exposure to light. Common mistake: expecting the entire Space Mix to glow; only the core is glow-in-the-dark. Charge the core under a lamp or flashlight for 30–60 seconds for the best glow effect.
- Sculpt and play: Use the Playfoam to create space gear, habitats, or scenery for your pal. Because the foam never dries out, you can reshape it again and again. Common mistake: mixing the glow-in-the-dark core with the Space Mix—they combine but the glow effect becomes diluted. Store the pal, accessories, and Playfoam back inside the pod to keep everything together.
