Quick answer
The Mompush rain covers for Velo and Nova strollers are model-specific, easy to install without tools, and designed to block wind and rain while providing ventilation.
Why model-specific fit matters
Each Mompush rain cover is engineered to match the exact dimensions and fold of its stroller model. A cover designed for the Nova will not fit the Velo, and vice versa. Using the correct cover ensures a snug seal that keeps rain out and prevents flapping in the wind.
Ventilation without letting rain in
Both covers include ventilation panels that allow airflow to keep your child comfortable. The panels are positioned to avoid direct rain entry, so you don't have to choose between fresh air and dryness.
Frequently asked questions
Will the Nova rain cover fit my Velo stroller?
No. The Nova Rain Cover is designed specifically for the Mompush Nova chassis and canopy dimensions. Using it on a Velo will leave gaps that let in rain and wind.
How do I install the rain cover?
Place the cover over the stroller canopy, starting from the front. Stretch the elastic hem around the edges of the canopy. No tools or straps are needed. The cover should sit snugly without sagging. Test the fit indoors once before you need it in the rain.
Can I store the cover while it's wet?
Shake off excess water and air-dry the cover before folding it into its storage pouch. Storing it wet can cause mildew or odor. The cover dries quickly because of its water-resistant material.
Does the cover block all wind?
The cover significantly reduces wind exposure, but it is not a fully insulated barrier. It blocks direct wind and rain while maintaining ventilation. For cold weather, consider pairing it with a footmuff.
