Start with what the bundle actually gives you

The Reef 2 Special Edition Ganache bundle is a 12-piece travel system built around the Reef 2 stroller, a folding bamboo-lined quilted carrycot, and the Silver Cross Glide Plus 360 infant carrier. The bundle also includes a limited-time Lunar bedside crib offer, so your first setup session covers both the pram and a bedside sleep space.

Before you open every box, separate the parts into three groups: stroller frame and wheels, fabrics and carrycot, and the Glide Plus 360 carrier. That order matches how the pieces go together and keeps small harness parts from getting lost in the packaging.

First assembly in a workable order

Work on a clean, flat surface and keep the supplied instructions to hand. The steps below follow the bundle's supplied features; where a detail is not confirmed in the product information, check the printed manual before forcing anything.

  1. Unfold and lock the stroller frame: The Reef 2 has a one-hand, self-standing fold with the seat attached. Open the frame fully until it locks, then check the fold mechanism is seated before adding weight.
  2. Fit the puncture-proof wheels: The bundle lists supreme multi-terrain handling with puncture-proof wheels. Push each wheel on until it clicks, then tug gently to confirm it is secure.
  3. Build the carrycot: The folding bamboo-lined, quilted carrycot is approved for overnight sleeping. Assemble it flat and check the lining sits smoothly before placing it on the frame.
  4. Set up the Glide Plus 360 carrier: The Glide Plus 360 is included to create a complete newborn travel system. The carrier's auto-adjust harness has integrated head and neck support, so adjust the harness to the smallest setting before first use.
  5. Prepare the Lunar bedside crib: The Lunar bedside crib is included for a limited time as part of this bundle. Follow its own supplied instructions for assembly and use rather than the stroller manual.

What the bundle confirms

Checkpoints before the first trip out

Once the frame, wheels, carrycot and carrier are together, do a slow walk-around. Push the stroller a few metres on a flat surface and listen for anything loose. Fold and unfold it once with the seat attached to confirm the one-hand fold works as described. Then attach and remove the carrycot and carrier in turn so you know how each release feels before you are doing it in a car park.

The bundle also includes coordinated accessories in matching fabrics. Fit those last, after the structural checks, so you are not adjusting straps around a footmuff or liner.

Where the supplied information stops

This bundle's product record does not confirm car-seat installation methods, base compatibility beyond the included Glide Plus 360, or cleaning instructions for the fabrics. Treat those as manual-first tasks: read the printed instructions for the carrier and the Lunar bedside crib before use, and do not improvise installation steps from a general guide.

  • Car-seat fitting: The record confirms the Glide Plus 360 is included but does not detail installation. Use the carrier's own instructions.
  • Fabric care: The jersey fabrics are described as luxury and crease-free, but no washing guidance is supplied here. Check the care label on each piece.
  • Lunar crib assembly: The bedside crib is a separate product with its own instructions; the stroller manual will not cover it.

A realistic first-week routine

Keep the carrycot set up and flat for the first weeks, since it is the approved overnight-sleeping option in this bundle. Practise clipping the Glide Plus 360 carrier on and off the frame while the stroller is stationary, then with the frame folded, so the motion becomes familiar. Leave the one-hand fold for last each time; it is the step most likely to be rushed when you are loading a car.

The Reef 2 Ganache bundle is priced at USD 1,276.80 against a catalog comparison price of USD 1,995.00, and the Lunar bedside crib offer is described as limited-time. If the crib is the reason you are choosing this bundle, confirm the offer is still running before you order rather than assuming it will be included later.
